24 Hour & 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations

   

Meets OSHA requirements for personnel engaged in hazardous waste operations as listed in 29 CFR 1920.120 ( where hazardous materials may potentially be present, encountered, packaged, labeled, marked, stored, shipped for disposal, or any facility where hazardous wastes are treated, stored or disposed.

40 Hour Hazardous Materials Site Worker

 Satisfies requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120/1926.65 and is targeted to employees who could be potentially exposed to hazardous substances. This may include employees who respond to and are involved in clean-up, corrective actions involving clean-up operations, uncontrolled hazardous waste sites, treatment, storage, disposal, and emergency response operations for the release of or threat of release of a hazardous substance. Training includes topics in safety, regulations, health hazards, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, decontamination, detection and prevention, sampling and more.

 
   

8 Hour Hazardous Materials Awareness

   

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 is designed for employees who respond to or may encounter a hazardous materials emergency. This includes witnessing or discovering a hazardous materials release and how they will initiate a proper and safe response by notifying authorities. A strong emphasis is on recognition and detection of a hazardous materials release.

 
   

24 Hour Hazardous Materials for EMS Responders

   

This course’s emphasis is on EMS Responders and safety. Topics include recognition, safety, PPE, respiratory protection, patient and ambulance decontamination, medical treatment and modalities, and signs and symptoms of exposure.

 
   

24 Hour and 40 Hour Confined Spaces

 

Meets the standards set in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act (General Duty Clause). This requires employers to “furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees.” Topics include hazardous materials, permit required spaces, testing, examples of programs and permits, pre-entry checklist, rescue team on rescue service evacuation criteria, hot work, special industry requirements, warning signs and labels, and more. Also include practical use of, ropes and knots, harnesses, respiratory protection and more.

 
   

Fire Brigade/EMT Response/Implementing an ERT

 

Satisfies NFPA 600 and OSHA standards for protection. Will organize, train, and make recommendations to implement or enhance your Fire Brigade.

 
   

Emergency Response Drills

 

Assist your business with setting up drills identifying strengths and weaknesses, and give recommendations for improvements.
